Business Meetings at the Damascus International Fair: Direct Engagement Paves the Way for New Partnerships
Direct business meetings open new avenues for trade cooperation and pave the way for new partnerships and deals.

The economic meetings held during the first three days of the 63rd edition of the Damascus International Fair resulted in direct discussions between business leaders and companies about opportunities for trade cooperation and market expansion. Participants also expressed interest in reaching distributors and buyers and exploring the possibility of concluding new deals and agreements.

Specialized Meetings

Mohammad Ziad Al-Najjar, manager of the Syrian branch of the UAE-based United Foods Company, told the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that dedicating the opening days to specialized meetings gave the fair a more focused character, particularly by strengthening direct communication between companies, traders, and buyers.

Al-Najjar explained that these meetings provided an opportunity for direct negotiations, noting that the attendance during the first three days consisted mainly of traders and distributors, alongside those interested in obtaining commercial agencies inside and outside Syria.
