Ahmad Al-Deiri
Revolutionary media activist and journalist
He was born in the town of Sheikh Miskin in the Daraa Governorate.
After the Syrian revolution, he participated in the revolutionary movement of the Syrian community in Egypt, then worked as a journalist for “Orient” TV starting in 2012. In September 2012, he returned to Syria, where he covered the fighting and abuses committed by regime forces. He then left for the United Arab Emirates and continued working with “Orient TV” until 2018, after which he moved to Turkey and has been working with “Syrian TV” ever since.
